I am currently Chairman of the BBGS and have been a Trustee since Autumn 2014. My husband and I have a grassland farm near Buckingham.

Following a serious riding accident whilst competing in 2011, when I broke my back, we have developed the farming enterprise more and moved away from the equine side.

We breed both purebred and fullblood Boer Goats alongside a flock of pedigree Blue Texel Sheep. Our aim is to breed the best quality Boers that we can adhering to the breed standard and producing happy high health status meat goats and pedigree breeding stock.

I have made many visits to South Africa studying the Boer Goat Breed and how it has been developed over the years. The training there is very thorough and enormously rewarding and it is a privilege to process 100’s of beautiful goats in each visit. I was also very proud to be asked to co-judge at the Doornport Show in South Africa, the only UK woman to judge boer goats in South Africa, although the first class of approx. 60 doe kids was a daunting start
