Many congratulations to British Boer Goat Society member Mike Everitt of the Oakleigh Herd of Boer Goats who supplied the boer goat meat to renowned Chef Amara Wilson for her winning main course in the final of the Great British Menu this week.
Her reimagined curried goat dish was judged to be outstanding and will be served at the prestigious anniversary banquet which will be celebrating distinguished Britons throughout history.
This just confirms what we all know that boer goat meat is delicious as well as being a healthy red meat alternative.
